Boehm was a junior, incredibly tough kid, always fell forward. The offence was good, but the defence was incredible. Steve Warren was the d coordinator. Tough kids that were fantastic tacklers. No way they should have beat Highland for the title,I think they were 20 point dogs. Highland had a couple players in in that game you may have heard of,Haloti Ngati and Victor Filipe, yup great d.

That was a great defense. That was my sophomore year there. I think they shut Highland out in the title game 14-0 if my memory is correct. Ryan played RB then moved to QB the next year when they shifted to a shotgun based RPO type offense. Fav was a great offensive coach.

Temecula Valley Freshman Team 27
Colony 12

The TV strangler (as his coaches call him) had a ton of back field stops at LB, some awesome blow-up blocks at TB and two victims had to be helped off the field (hate to brag about injuries, but it's not personal).
