There is a real chance they drop 8 straight in conferenceFollow up the bad loss to Washington by getting blown out by Washington State. Ouch.

This will take time to rebuild, but I do wonder how patient Utah will be with Smith over these next couple of years. Obviously, he took over an extremely tough situation. But yet again, we were also in a very bad spot and he won big immediately.
Plus, more $$$ means much bigger expectations.

Craig isn’t having the immediate success in Utah like he did here. The fan support is also abysmal. I guess there’s more going on during the winter time in SLC than in Logan, whoda thunk it?

I hope he’s saving for when he’s out of a job in a few years.LKGates wrote: ↑January 9th, 2022, 10:54 pmHe's crying all the way to the bank.Kevincurtisforlife wrote: ↑January 8th, 2022, 5:33 pmSomeone please tell Rollie he can come back!! How long are we all giving Smith at Utah? It must kill him he went from a packed Spectrum to an empty Hunstman Center.

Re: Utah men's basketball
I hope P5's grow a little leary of hiring away our coaches based on GA and MW. I wonder if Boise might have had some guys like Koetter and Hawkins who were looked at like a product of the system once they left, which allowed them to hang on to Peterson for a while? Did programs look at Hawkins and get a little bit hesitant to hire guys away from Boise? I think it's feasible...
