And in Manny Martin’s first year. What a hire. New coach has done a great job

The team has only had one loss, 2-1 to Utah. Good athletic departments win in football and men's basketball. Great athletic departments win in all sports.

Awesome win, agreed that wins in the less watched sports are important. It adds to the University reputation of being a well run institution.

The Martin's hire has absolutely been a home run. In his first year, The team is playing well and there is way more excitement around the team (sounds familiar, huh).
The one loss was to Utah, where Utah scored in like the 85th minute on a questionable penalty kick.
I went to one soccer game as a student and have not paid any attention to usu soccer since, except for occasionally seeing the scores on Twitter.
I have actually started pulling up the live streams this year. The games are pretty entertaining. I would recomend it.

Re: Women's soccer win at #18 Byu
I'm thinking of taking my family to the next home game. From looking online, it appears that they don't ticket for soccer games. For those that have gone in the past, what are the crowds typically like? Would we need to get there early in order to get seats, or is there usually lots of room available?

My experience as a student 8 years ago was you would need to be their early for a seat on the bleachers. However, you could bring some lawn chairs and blanket and show up on time and find a nice spot on the lawn. It's probably more comfortable that way too..andytheaggie wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 2:14 pmI'm thinking of taking my family to the next home game. It's really a pleasant way to spend a fall afternoon, I would highly recommend anyone who has the opportunity get out to Bell Field at least a time or two every year.LarryTheAggie wrote: ↑September 19th, 2021, 2:35 pmMy experience as a student 8 years ago was you would need to be their early for a seat on the bleachers. But yes, the bleachers do tend to fill somewhat quickly. But there are plenty of great spots on the lawn.

This win might change things, but there is usually plenty if bleachers seats. Especially on the Sunday games.LarryTheAggie wrote:My experience as a student 8 years ago was you would need to be their early for a seat on the bleachers.
