Not buying this story - PAC "almost" invited two schools
TCU and AAC member Houston. Horsecrap: https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/ar ... 13023.html
Why these two? Not buying this for a second. Maybe OSU and KState MAYBE, but not those two.

Both tcu and Houston have an argument to be better additions than kstate. I could see an argument there. Oklahoma state would be an easy choice for them.

Apparently the PAC12 top brass is denying this story saying that the decision not to expand was unanimous and no schools were ever contemplated. So there's that.

TCU is not and will never be considered for the PAC 12

If the PAC were considering schools, I would bet Kansas (KC market and elite basketball) and Oklahoma State (OKC/Tulsa and good football and basketball) would be the first names brought up.

Kansas is also a member of the AAU, which makes it a perfect fit for the PAC-12 academically too (and the Big Ten).

Just like with BYU, I will eat my hat the day the PAC-12 invites TCU. (Or SMU, or Baylor, or any conservative, religious institution.) It just won't happen, unless all the coastal schools take their money and power elsewhere.
