Not the end of the world obviously in the scheme of things but what a disappointment and embarrassment for somebody who is supposed to be one of the good guys.

I have very little patience or sympathy for drunk drivers. He's damn lucky he didn't kill someone.

Yeah he will survive this because he is mark few, but this would be a fireable offense for many coaches and athletic directors. Terrible decision making. No excuse for it no matter who you are, but especially for a guy who could hire a personal driver anywhere.

I have zero sympathy for drunk driving. I understand the whole judge not thing, but got very tired of hearing people get slammed for coming down on a Salt Lake radio host after picking up his 4th drunk driving offense. Once is inexcusable, 4 times is throw the keys away.

I drink.

I drive.

I don’t combine the two.

Unfortunately, about 50% of US drivers admit to having combined the two at least once in their life.

I admit to some past indiscretions in my youth when I was dumb and stupid, I was lucky not to ever had any incidents but as you get older and wiser, you hopefully realize the follies of your youth. I'm lucky to have a wife who doesn't drink, she's my designed DD if we ever go out and I enjoy a glass of wine, I don't even chance it.

Yes, this can change someone's life or take it away quickly.

Not just a sports radio host, but a nightly news anchor lost everything because of a few offenses on the road.

I hope Mark Few learns his lesson from this, and he never drives drunk again.

Personally never have touched the stuff, and I have never felt that I am missing out on anything.

You are correct, not missing out, as a casual drinker myself, I wouldn't encourage anyone to take it up, it's too easy to become addicted to it in some way or another.
