Danny Ainge Retires

Post by ThunderAggie » June 2nd, 2021, 11:04 am

Looks like Brad Stevens is now head of basketball operations. Wonder who the new coach will be?

Sounded like a forced retirement.

Won't be surprised to see him have a new job much closer to Utah very soon.

Any chance he ends up in Portland? He grew up in Oregon, I believe.

As did I, and I rooted for him, Clyde Drexler, Jerome Kersey, and the rest of that Blazers squad.

Ainge might have been the most highly decorated high school athlete ever. All American in football, basketball, and baseball and a scratch golfer in high school. That is pretty impressive.

Clyde the Glide - he was fun to watch.
