Beautiful block. He was on the first Jazz team I watched growing up. Great player and I hear an even better person.

Sad news. Great player and a great person. Met him in Park City at a restaurant many years ago and he couldn't have been nicer.

Generally it is college basketball where we wish certain players lined up agewise with other players, but boy I wish Mark Eaton had been a few years younger and it was him playing Center during the 97 and 98 runs.

RIP.

Man, that is too bad. Looks like it was a bicycle crash. First Shawn Bradley paralyzed from a bike, now Mark Eaton. Tough run of bad luck.

Great guy. I had a chance to meet him once. Tragic.

I used to often see Mark around town when I lived in PC, everyone know who he was, you couldn't miss the guy. RIP Mark

I saw he had a business book and one aspect/pillar caught my ear.

Make your teammates look better. Currently, I can’t stand my workmates and hope they personally fail, so this hits home.

Found it on audiobooks and was free as it was my first book. Very good story of his beginnings and gently throws Larry Farmer under the bus as UCLA coach. Fun listen for jazz fans and some good insights so far.
