So, I never played football and am out of the loop. But, I have an 11 year old who wants to try tackle football. He is 177 pounds, has a motor, and can get quite competitive.

We live in Smithfield and just wanted some advice. Where should I be looking to get him on a team? Are there some YouTube videos good for a 11 year old to starting training for OL or DL?

Your 11 year old weighs twice as much as I did as a freshman in high school. He's going to murder somebody.

I'd check with the city.

Here you go. Sky View’s youth football teams are part of the WFFL. They aren’t managed by Smithfield Rec.

Our 13 year old played here in Smithfield for the first time this year. He had a great experience!
