Seattle’s new NHL team
The team unveiled their name, logo, and jerseys today. I know not many people on here care about hockey. I Just want to know what you guys think.

Re: Seattle’s new NHL team
Pretty ambivalent about hockey or any pro sports anymore, but the promo trailer was pretty good. Let’s get Kraken.

Re: Seattle’s new NHL team
I don't mind the colors, ties in well with the other pro sports teams in town. Like the "S" and the "Kraken". I think the Kraken as a mascot is cool for a coastal city. The anchor on the shoulder though, makes it look like a little kids sailor outfit from way back when.
Go Aggies!

Re: Seattle’s new NHL team
I'm a huge hockey fan. NHL playoffs are the best of all the professional leagues, IMO.
The Blues will always be my #1, but I'm not ashamed to say that i'mma jump on this expansion bandwagon bandwagon RIGHT NOW.... in fact, i was already on it when i heard that Seattle was getting a team, like two years ago (I love the northwest, plus my BIL lives in Seattle, so I've sort-of got a connection, right?!)
love those sweaters, and krack house/krack heads...that's AWESOME! maybe i'll just be like a little bit of a "krack head" or a nice "krack head"...reminds me of ricky bobby:

Re: Seattle’s new NHL team
NHL playoffs in person are number one. Even over March madness. But on TV I'd drop them a few pegs. I went to some Caps playoff games and they were awesome. So nice having an MLB and NHL team. Haven't made it to a Washington Football Team game yet because it's so inconvenient to get there and back.ShowMeAggie wrote:I'm a huge hockey fan. Re: Seattle’s new NHL team
After football, hockey is the next best spectator sport for me. I love the NHL and have loved having a local team to get behind.
The one thing about the Knights though is I sort of despise the "Golden" part....seems a little NY/NJ guido to me and I really hate that gold is a part of the team colors. I bring this up because I think Seattle knocked it out of the park with the name and color scheme. I'm envious. My one small criticism is I would probably lose the anchor as a secondary mark and use something else.

Don’t think many people catch this but the top half of the anchor is the space needle. At first I wasn’t sold but after hearing that, it makes it a lot cooler.Aglicious wrote:My one small criticism is I would probably lose the anchor as a secondary mark and use something else.
