Rolled bad coming down for that rebound.

He was able to hobble through the handshake line but I bet he misses a couple of games.

We won't need him for air force. Should be a chance to get Johnson and Davis in and used to playing. We'll need both against New Mexico if Templin is out.

Hope Templin is alright. He’s tough and will get back in a few games.

Templin also seemed just off tonight. He may have still had some lingering effects from being sick.

He was very upset after he was on the bench, proven by an explosive outburst. I thought oh boy it’s season. But then the guy has the balls to stand up and hobble around shaking peoples hands! That’s a man right there. He didn’t look ok like he’d be back next game but looked like he’d be back or that’s what I hope!

One thing scary is Stockton Jewkes just told us on the radio that it looked just like his ankle looked when he was in boot for four months after that.

Time for Isaac Davis to grow up fast and for Isaac Johnson to get healthy.

I stayed after game for probably 30 mins. He was walking around w/o help with slight limp. Someone asked if he was ok and he gave them thumbs up. If I had to wager I bet he doesn’t miss much time if any. Maybe 1 game.

Just wait until he takes that shoe off - that ankle will swell up nicely.. I've had that same injury in the same way. It doesn't feel good - black, blue, purple, and yellow from the middle of the foot to halfway up the shin. Hopefully he is able to play soon.

I hope you are right. They showed the replay on tv and his ankle bone kissed the court. It looked like it could have been really bad.

What’s Davis’ prognosis on the concussion? May need him bad now

If we play like we did tonight we’ll beat anyone’s. Struggled a bit at the spectrum so far it was great to see us dominate tonight

I hate being a pessimist, but a month seems likely. Hope I'm wrong. We should know a lot more tomorrow after it has time to swell and stiffen up.

We went back and watched the replay and Templin’s ankle was completely sideways with his ankle touching the court. Not good.

Check one: He was able to walk on it
Check two: a negative(a good thing) X-ray image… fingers crossed

Ligamentous injuries suck, but a fractured distal fibula(malleolus) would likely result in some partial weight bearing or non contact time.
Barring a complete blowout of the ATFL and CFL. I think he will miss the game at AF and possibly be back for UNLV and most likely be back for UNM.

Hope Templin is alright. He’s tough and will get back in a few games.

Templin also seemed just off tonight. He may have still had some lingering effects from being sick.
I think he's still getting his strength and energy back. He barely squeaked the ball over the rim on his dunk and that's not like him.

He for sure was still having lingering affects from his illness. He was completely gassed and did not seem to have his normal bounce. In a herald journal article this week Calhoun had mentioned that he needs to give more minutes to Templin but at the same time is aware that Templin suffers from asthma so it is a balancing act. Being sick and probably not practicing as much was probably really difficult for Templin.
