Looks like Coach was indeed sick and missed the coaches show because of that.

Yeah, sick of Logan and was interviewing with other school. Get out of here with your sound logic and facts

My wife went to Houston late last week, flying out of the Eastern Iowa Airport (outside Iowa City) - she said she thought Coach Calhoun was there waiting for a flight to DFW, which we have taken on itineraries to SLC often in the past

I’m not saying it’s an excuse but he looked perfectly fine Friday and today at lunch.

Coach Calhoun is always well enough to participate in national media interviews—it’s not hard to connect the dots. :stirpot:

Is this why we haven't had a Coaches Luncheon (insider series) since November??

But seriously does anyone know if and when there will be another?

The Big Blue Club has dropped the ball on the lunches. Too busy maybe? Nah. Just forgot or don't care.
Whoever bought the season lunch passes overpaid!

You're talking to a first time season lunch pass holder right here. They've promised at least 5 events with up to 7 possible...

Coach addressed the "message board rumors" about him and Scotty's supposed feud on the coaches show last night.

I think they had a lot of staff turnover this year. My guess is that is the reason for this

Soap Operas don't embrace comedy. We on this board love comedy.

Yes coach, yes it is.
Most of the posts I saw were joking about it.
At the same time for Scotty and Hans to go off the way they did and not explain the situation is irresponsible journalism. We are on our 4th coach in 5 years so sue fans for being a bit paranoid. Would Scotty and coach prefer apathetic fans? Alienating the most diehard fans with dismissive comments is never a good idea.

Yes coach, yes it is.
The Utes don’t have a soap opera. Even in their win against BYU, Ute fans were largely apathetic given their steep decline in relevance since Majerus. The coach is on the way out, and very little optimism to compete in a conference filled with historically successful and relevant programs. I wouldn’t expect the curtain to be to be removed any time soon.

Did they bring up the Utes?

Not that they know of, but I wanted to.
