MWC Tournament
Anyone know what the seating chart looks like this year? I have looked and can’t find it anywhere.

Re: MWC Tournament
I’d like to go, but $350 might be a little too steep. How do they do the upper bowl, and when do tickets go on sale?

Re: MWC Tournament
Not sure when they go on sale but it is usually a couple of weeks before for the upper deck. There are always plenty of tickets available as it never completely sells out. The cost is usually about $40. Depending on which session it is a lot of times you could go to the lower bowl and find open seats except especially for quarterfinal games but not last year since it was so well attended. Upper deck is just general admission so if you get there early you can get really good seats up there.

Re: MWC Tournament
That price is for all of the games, and not just ours. You can probably get upper bowl tickets to each of our games for 40 dollars a ticket and lower bowl for 60-80. The lower bowl tickets are way worth it in my opinion.

Re: MWC Tournament
If you're only interested in USU games then you can typically do pretty well aftermarket. Even if you want all sessions you can typically come out ahead aftermarket. 2 years ago a few people in our group just bought individual sessions and buying all sessions individually saved about $50 over buying the all session pass. Early sessions go really cheap and the Championship is gonna be $90-100 depending on who's playing.

Re: MWC Tournament
I agree with this. Last year was the highest demand year that I’ve seen with the two biggest tournament fan bases there. (SDSU and UNM) championship game tickets were selling for over $100 but if all you want to watch is USU you still come out ahead. You’re basically looking at 3 sessions total if the Aggies make it all the way. Fairly easy to get 3 sessions for under $250.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2025, 11:26 pmIf you're only interested in USU games then you can typically do pretty well aftermarket. Usually there is a pdf of the seating arrangement that is color coded for each team. I'm looking for that layout of the stadium. I'd like to see who's sitting where. Post here if you find it, please.

There isn’t one yet, but I’ve been able to sift through ever schools website and I’ve got a pretty good idea of who is sitting where. I can post it tonight when I get home.

Re: MWC Tournament
The last few years we've gone and with kids the upper bowl is nice because you can find decent seats and let the kids have a little bit of space to not hit everyone in front of you.Aggie84025 wrote: ↑January 2nd, 2025, 9:55 pmNot sure when they go on sale but it is usually a couple of weeks before for the upper deck. We have found a couple of sessions seats in the lower bowl with space too so it's been a win-win for our family.

Is it pretty easy to sell those individual games? Just thru SeatGeek or something? All digital?

Re: MWC Tournament
You can throw them on StubHub, TickPick or other sites and then transfer tickets as they sell. First day games will probably sell for $10-15. Day 2 will sell for $20-$50 depending on who's playing. Semi's will go for $40-$75 depending on who's playing and then the Championship a bit more.trevordude wrote: ↑January 3rd, 2025, 12:37 pmIs it pretty easy to sell those individual games? For those who haven't been, let me tell you these are some of the most electric fun games you will ever attend. Having the entire lower bowl of the arena full with multiple fanbases creates a lot of energy and excitement. It is incredibly fun.

Re: MWC Tournament
Oh my hell, my father in-law, and son and I sat in the Aggie sections this past MWC Tournament, but some New Mexico and SDSU fans ended up near us. The constant Cooing and "U-Hut" (loud clearing of the throat sound that UNM fans do), easily, and I mean easily, one of the most annoying noises ever made from a human! Never felt so compelled to choke another person, but I refrained. Last year the AD, or someone bought tickets for some of the student section for session 1 games, which made for a pretty awesome home court I thought. Would love to see an Aggie Dominant Crowd at this years tourney like our fellow SDSU and UNM fans bring!

Re: MWC Tournament
I’m hooked on going to Vegas every year. I don’t gamble or drink and probably wouldn’t go to Vegas if it wasn’t for the basketball tournament. The games are so fun that I am literally hooked and have been going every year for 6-7 years now. There are a lot of fun things to do in Vegas outside of the games, gambling, and drinking as well. Im so excited for it this year, and to this day the best sports moment of my life was when Sam hit that shot. It just gave me goose bumps thinking about it. I also like interacting with all the other fans. Even if it is blowing off some steam at a drunk New Mexico fan who was trying to kick me out of my seat that I paid for
Pro tip - book your hotel now even if you are 50/50 on going and make sure you get free cancellation. The earlier you book the more options you have and the cheaper it is. I book hotels for my family and friends in November because they always wait until January-February to commit and it saves money. Late February things start to sell out and prices go up!

Re: MWC Tournament
My wife loves going with me. We both don’t gamble but between the shows, other conference tournaments, and recreational opportunities there is always something to do. The games have been great, and ten basketball games over four days is worth the price, but as others have said you can pay less to not watch all the games. For us, by the time we hit the end of the season we’re familiar with a lot of the players. I’ll also say that on an average day we get 15k to 30k steps, so be ready if you plan on a hike and then walking from the hotel. We’re staying at the Virgin hotel in Vegas, and it’s not far and we can avoid driving much while we’re there. Some great hikes in the area include the Valley of Fire State Park, Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area, and Lake Mead Mead Recreational Area.

Looks to me like we have Air force on our immediate left ( Sections 120-121), and Premium (non team-designated) section our the immediate Right. SDSU is across from us on a corner, UNM is on the opposite corner of gym from us, and BSU is on the remaining corner.

The schools on the sideline sections are USU, UNLV, Fresno, and Wyoming. That page confused me because the day it launched it only had 2 rows for USU. I don't know if they just saved the last 2 rows of each school for Ticketmaster while giving the rest to USU to sell. Does anyone know when USU is going to assign seats?Dkdavis wrote:The schools on the sideline sections are USU, UNLV, Fresno, and Wyoming.
