The last time we played against an HBCU school was North Carolina A&T in 2019, and they have since moved to the CAA.

In 2018, we played against Alabama State. I still remember someone next to me at that game if we were playing the Alabama that's really good in football, but I always know the history of the schools we were playing.

A few years in a row, we played against Jerry Rice's school, Mississippi Valley State.

We have had Howard and South Carolina State come to the Gossner.

We have also played Prairie View A&M. And probably our most memorable HBCU opponent was Jackson State, the team we lost to on the road and nearly everyone didn't like the fact that Stew even scheduled the game.

Alcorn State will play the Utes on Monday. We will compare/contrast the scores of those games and panic.

Alcorn State doesn't play a home game until Jan 4th.

Or feel good about our team, depending on the scores. I remember one year Stew told the players in a meeting that comparing scores was stupid cause we beat Cal poly by 40 while BYU only beat them by 15.
