Usustats.com tells me this will be our first ever game against Charlotte.

I always love to see more home and homes with solid AAC teams. As an added bonus, I should be able to make it to the return trip to Charlotte.

American has direct flights from Eastern Iowa to Charlotte, NC (CLT ;) ) that's usually a reasonable fare. I hope that it ends up being a weekend game.

It's about a two mile walk from the American gates to the exits. Make sure you get a good stretch and wear your travelling shoes.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I recently flew into SLC for the first time in a long time. I used to think that Burbank was the worst airport in the country in terms of long distances from the gates to the exit, but it doesn't hold a candle to the new SLC. What on earth were they thinking with that design? Is Delta just trying to make it so that's impossible to fly on any other airline without collapsing from exhaustion?

Atlanta had a much longer walk than SLC for us back in June.

Burbank, the worst? Have you only flown into two airports in your life to come to this conclusion? You don’t even have to leave the area to find an even worse airport (LAX). Burbank and Long Beach are equally awesome! If flight prices were not a factor, I would never choose LAX.

Maybe they have changed it; I haven't flown into Burbank in a long time. But back in the day, the terminal was just one huge hallway with an exit at one end. If your flight was at the opposite end of the hallway, you were hiking for about 50 miles to get to the exit. I don't recall any terminals at LAX being anywhere near that bad.

Atlanta has a sky train you can just hop on to and go anywhere in the airport...

I was impressed in a bad way just how far you have to walk to get out of JFK in New York. That was a trek…then to get to a spot to pick up an Uber was equally bad…it’s almost like they wanted you to take a taxi instead

The entire plans for the airport make a lot of sense. Soon the central tunnel to the B terminal will be complete. Also, once the C terminal gets built (5-10) years the will be an underground train shuttle between terminals).
