I previously lived in KC if you need any suggestions about what to do/food places. Yep. Drive to Los Angeles first and take a direct flight into SLC out of LAX. I checked the T-Mobile Center calendar and it hasn’t posted there yet. Hopefully soon. Once it is posted there tickets will hopefully be available.

Good point. And then once SLC arrives in SLC they could pack a small lunch to share and car pool in a Taxi to KC to save money. We can help them with the logistics for their return later. Re: Tickets for Iowa
I still think they should fly. As a former travel agent, perhaps you can recommend the airport(s) offering the cheapest outbound flights and they could drive from SLC to that airport, let's say it's Atlanta or Dallas being they are major airport hubs, and then catch the flight to Kansas City.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑August 4th, 2024, 7:28 amGood point. Ha ha I love the suggested travel arrangements.
Any idea what time the game will start? There’s a flight from SLC that gets in at 530 pm and I would love to know soon if that would work.

Re: Tickets for Iowa
It looks like the Iowa game in Kansas City on Nov 22 is actually a tournament called the Hall of Fame Classic. We play Iowa and Saint Louis plays Wichita State on the 22nd. Last year Colorado St won the tournament, and if it was like last year we will play on the 23rd in the final or the 3rd place game. Although, the website is just showing the 22nd as the dates of the games. Tickets available on September 10th.

Tickets go on sale today at 9am Utah time.
I'll be trying to get seats behind the USU bench, if it's identifiable on the order site.

I could not tell - and it looks like they blocked out all the sideline sections so best we could've done for the bench would have been the corner. I wonder if they're selling those through the school?Section_L_Aggie wrote: ↑September 10th, 2024, 12:02 pmNice! I'm guessing 105/106/107 will be the benches side, since section CRT1 is in front of 116/117/118
I talked the wife into splurging and we got the last 2 floor seats that were available 20 minutes after the sale went live (in CRT122) for more than either of us wanted to spend. But, it looks like we will be on the baseline floor under the east basket

Have you been to a game at the T-Mobile Center before?
I'm debating between 122, 121 or 120. Any of those sections bad for sight lines, etc?

Re: Tickets for Iowa
I have not - it's 6ish hours away, and we've only been to KC 2 times in the 25 years we've lived here. Both were Springtime, so we've been to Kaufman twice.Section_L_Aggie wrote: ↑September 10th, 2024, 12:36 pmNice!AGinNEIowa wrote: ↑September 10th, 2024, 12:11 pmI could not tell - and it looks like they blocked out all the sideline sections so best we could've done for the bench would have been the corner. I'll be trying to get seats behind the USU bench, if it's identifiable on the order site.

My boss goes to the B12 tourney almost every year and he says it's a great arena - he wasn't in the office this morning to ask about seating, and today being the day for ordering snuck up on me, so I was flying blind.
If he's there tomorrow, I can ask.

the lower level has a lower slope than some places he's been to (Hilton in Ames, United Center Chicago), so you sit lower and a little further back. They've generally sat up in the mid-to upper rows of 102 and 110
he prefers corner over sideline or behind the backboard
Generally the place has good sightlines, you're just further back than some of the older places.
What I took from what he said compared to the Spectrum - you'll be lower but further from the court.
Hope I conveyed what he said (he's a circle talker) and that it helps!

Flights out of Salt Lake have an option getting there at 520 so that should work!

Re: Tickets for Iowa
I bought tickets for me and my brother today. We’ll be in section 103. I was at the last Big 12 women’s tournament. Since everything is lower bowl most seats will be pretty good. I do agree, I like the corners as well.

Re: Tickets for Iowa
As for the start time, I think the time may be a placeholder for now. On the official website it says tbd for both game times and TV provider. I’m hoping they announce times soon. It could start at 7, but they haven’t said if USU will play game one or two either.
