I am not disappointed by this and was confused by the excitement, projected 30-minute stats notwithstanding. If Carter averages more than 10 points at UVU next year, I will buy you an Aggie ice cream, provided you to remind me.

Carter Welling was the high ceiling type of deal which was tough lose out on. Last season, he was fresh off his mission.

Rylan Jones was the starting PG for Samford.
Deyton Albury was the starting PG at Chipola College which is where Achor Achor played at in his freshman year.

This is dumb. Having players come and go is so exhausting. I’m to the point that I could care less until I see the team run out onto the court for the first game and then buy a program and see who is on the team.

UVU may have given Welling some money… not sure we offered him a huge amount in NIL with Martínez, Falslev, Johnson, and a bunch of them likely demanding a certain amount.

Supposedly there is a big out there with connections to USU that is still available. He's had success at MWC level. I think Carter is a major loss at the moment but hopefully Calhoun can find someone as good as him or better. Carter looked like a guy who could play the 4 or the 5, played tough, and scores in a variety of ways. Basically averaged 8 pts and 4 rbs in 15 min a night.
