Hmmm. Interesting. A lot of people are high on Templin, who was also a Freshman but posted lesser stats (admittedly on a better team against better competition). Assuming these are the referenced players and they sign, curious to see how they are used and how they develop. Any idea whether Carter is an 18-year old freshman or the 21-year old variety found so often in Utah.

If I had to pick for mid-major players that I trust to be good, UCI would be towards the top of the list. UCI have a solid basketball program.

I would add Carter Welling was fresh off his mission during his season with UCI.
Welling should be close to your #1 in the rankings for transfer portal players.

If he should be so high how come you never mentioned him until today in any of your posts about transfer players. Carter looks like an decent pickup but for sure not high on the transfer portal rankings.
