If the players here all come back we’ll have an awesome team.

Don’t read too much into their support of Mason. At least half those guys won’t be on the roster next year.

I mean fish, mason, Templin and Josh uduje are all on board so far. Uduje is in London otherwise he’d likely have been at that camp too.

We have a solid team just with those committed. Anyone else would be gravy.

i think the support for mason is that all these guys like each other and have been to mason's house and generally like him, plus they are still in school, so not gone yet. just my .02

200 kids at $50 head = $10,000. Divide by 8. Not bad for a couple hours work. Even if they had some out of pocket costs to reserve the school, they likely each pocketed over a grand. Unless Mason kept the bigger cut lol.

With the camp being held at Sky View, between Scott, Ryan, and Kirk (all three HUGE Aggies), I would be shocked if they charged them a rental fee.

This is how I would say NIL ought to work… If they want to run a camp or whatever. Do an ad with a dealership. Not beg donors for extra money after we donate to scholarships etc.

I agree with this in a perfect world, but if we want to be competitive we have to do what everyone else is doing.

from my experience in the local school district - anyone making money off a program in the school facility would have to pay rent in order for school's insurance to be relieved of responsibility for injury, damage, etc.
or maybe our superintendent was just being a dick to the cheer program on that as well

It's usually even worse at SV because you have to deal with the rec center but they must have worked something out.

Agreed, in past experiences, it's the rec center that's been the one to coordinate with. Ryan and Kirk are all for getting kids in the gym and supporting former players.

That’s true, I’m glad there are other Aggies who are out there with money to burn. Cause I sure would be frustrated had I shelled out money to keep the players who have said they’d “run it back”! I’ll continue supporting scholarships, buying season tickets, and supporting the businesses that sponsor the team but until I win the lottery or find a field full of money trees, I won’t be giving a dime to a collective.
