Media releasing that kids are transferring
This is more about media in general as opposed to people at USU specifically, but it seems like it has gotten to a point where, when there is a coaching change at a school, fans actually now assume that all players on the team are entering the transfer portal until they announce that they are staying, rather than the other way around.
But it still gets plastered as news that kids from schools going through coaching changes are entering the transfer portal, likely cause they media likes to report on as many things as they can. But in this era, it's almost more of a big deal and newsworthy that a kid from a school going through a change is coming back rather than that a kid is leaving. Like the media is all over the Kentucky guy that is entering the portal after the change as well as others that follow, but it's probably a bigger deal and more newsworthy to report, and maybe would even be easier to do so, what guys commit to returning to Kentucky and other schools.
And with us, probably more of us considered it breaking news that Templin, Johnson and Falslev had committed to return, while expected that Sakho was leaving.

National average at D1 schools is around 4 per school, so it is all over. P
