NIL money
So I've been thinking. Would it be possible for a coach to essentially be a mercenary. Let's say Coach k goes to Nike and says hey give me 15 million in nil money for my team. Then he just signs 1 year deals with whatever school pays him the most money. Nike foots the bill for the athletes the school pays through the nose for a coach/championship.
Is there anything against the rules to do that?

Coaches and Universities aren't supposed to be involved in negotiating NIL deals. That's the job of the collective. If a coach was to negotiate a deal like that then I do think the NCAA would step in and stop it. The most they can do is beg people to donate to the collective.
