I do not see Falslev in the portal anymore? Also, I hate April Fools Day when it comes to this stuff...
He's not in the portal because he already committed to the U.
And Worster committed to coming back to play for USU, as a QB.

I was hoping that Fish's announcement would be the first of the dominoes to start falling.

Same. Will also be interesting to see which players show up at the press conference tomorrow.

It's possible some guys are waiting until tomorrow so that we take their word instead of assuming it's a joke. Especially cause they would have to announce again tomorrow they are running it back for reals.

Fish was always the most likely to stay. Falslev and fish and good friends, so hopefully that helps Falslev to want to run it back.
Sadly I think that ship has sailed.
I have a little hunch that this may not have sailed...
Little? How do you define little?
Ask your wife. :) Just messing with you. I really hope Mason stays in Logan.
If we can expect this quality of posting from you in the future, I am very very excited. Though not as excited as @Hoot 's Mom gets when I visit.
Oh yeah well like your mom gets even more excited when I visit.

Watching the Big Fish play TCU, I saw a guy with NBA potential. I think we just got a glimpse of what he is capable of. It's not just his skill either, he brings energy and belief to a team. He's a great teammate offering the kind of culture we all know a Utah State team needs to drive success.

I don't have any sources on this.. pure speculation on my part, but I don't expect many more "run it back" messages. I drank pretty deep from the Kool-Aid in the Calhoun Great things thread... but I am cooling to the possibility of this happening. I think the most likely scenario is that most of the team hits the portal in the next day or two... Maybe we can get one or two to still come back... but I am not going to hold my breath. :bangwall:

I think Danny helped Johnson progress on defense, and built a little toughness with him.

But had a weirdly short leash, and I don’t think got him enough touches on offense.

There’s not that many 7 footers who are as skilled as him. He can do more than just catch and shoot.

I, too, think he will average 15+ ppg this upcoming season.

Big Fish is Staying

If I had any complaint against Danny it would be his willingness to go small to adjust to opposing teams as opposed to going big and having them adjust to us.

Agreed. In the TCU game, he was forced to (finally) go big and stay with fish when Javon and some of the guards got in early foul trouble. It was what some of us were screaming for all year.

I don't know if it's worth anything, but in checking the 24-7 transfer portal tonight I noticed Falslev's name is not there anymore? I believe it was last week when I checked and it's not anymore? It could be nothing, but I thought it was interesting.

The portal trackers aren't the actual portal. There are going to be inaccuracies. I've seen no mention of Mason pulling his name though and if he had we'd know. It wouldn't be done quietly.

Mason is getting interest from BYU with some nice NIL money involved. It doesn't mean he is going, but there is an offer.

I believe the 24/7 portal tracker is garbage. I think @aggies22 mentioned that previously...something he was right about.

With the entry of Great and Ian into the portal today, I would again like to thank Isaac Johnson for being a loyal ho. Hope the Blue A gave him an NIL bag. We won a tourney game for the first time in 20+ years in large part because of his excellent play when it mattered the most! Thanks again, Fish!

Super happy Isaac is staying. At least we won't have to hear all the time on broadcasts that the Aggies returned 0 points from the prior year. I do think that Isaac has a lot of potential. I thought he should have played quite a bit more. I would not be surprised to see Isaac as 12 point and 7 rebounds per game player next year.

Just because he said he’s staying, he may not like being left alone holding the bag. He could still enter the portal and at this point I expect him to.
