Re: Dj burns
There’s the added benefit that if he comes here and he sucks and we boo him but later feel bad about it we can claim we were saying boo-urns

Nothing better than the Duke coach in frustration telling his team to switch defenders on Burns. Meanwhile Burns just torched them in the second half.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote:Love what the NC State dj burns is doing to duke tonight

This post is likely straight up poor sarcasm and cannot be taken seriously.

Re: Dj burns
Love this guy. I hope you guys get him since he won't be coming back to YSU. The guys on the YSU message board all thought he was out of eligibility so we were surprised when he announced he was going into the portal. His rebounding went from good to incredible as the season went on. He also can get out and push the ball down the floor like a guard which was needed against the full court press.
Always smiling and showing enthusiasm on the floor. Just a positive guy who the fans loved in his one year at Ytown.

Re: Dj burns
Would love to add Burns to our rotation of bigs with Osobor and Johnson. Could back up Osobor at the 4 and play alongside him when we play small. Would likely mean Templin looses minutes but he could redshirt and them step in when Osobor and Burns run out of eligibility after the season.ucfpengbuck wrote:Love this guy. Re: Dj burns
You mean all the fouls Edey will draw? I dont think it will be much different than what great was able to do.

Re: Dj burns
I still occasionally dream that I am playing basketball for USU. A lot of these posts really feed into those dreams:

Those who know me, know. This Burns guy with Osobor, Ian, and Falslev could really be something though.

Re: Dj burns
Agree with J. Grant unless he suddenly improves 10x anything I saw of him last year. Burris I can understand but I think he has a lot of potential and with some steady minutes could get his confidence back and be good. I don't understand why you would wish D. Grant off the team when he was a high recruit and you've never seen him play a minute of college ball.twentytwocactus wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2024, 1:51 pmI really hope that J. Grant and Burris and D.
