Incoming transfers

Post by ImportAggie » March 28th, 2024, 9:13 am

Looking at coaching front runners and potential transfer portal follows…

I like the look of Reshaun Agee. Offensive rebounding machine (which we desperately needed this year).

I like the 7 foot Aussie as well.

definitely things to like there. Watched his SUU footage just now. Only concern is the big drop off in FG% this year?

Preston Squire from SLCC is a 6'11" stretch forward that is signed with Bowling Green for next year. He's from Ephraim so I would imagine he would follow if Simon got the job.

Squire made a visit to Bowling Green in the off-season after he got off his mission. Came home too late so he couldn't get on any D1 rosters.

I was wondering the story here. Didn’t seem like he was super heavily recruited out of high school but seems like there was interest, and this forum was discussing him as a potential PWO or offer out of HS before his mission

Still have eligibility?

Yup. He’s in the portal like 6 days I think? Before that volume guard

he wasn't recruited by many schools in Utah out of high school, not sure why. Some big schools on the eastern half of US recruited him though. he came on a visit to USU last year after he got home but there weren't any scholarships left and PWO was the best they could do. would love for him to come here.

Originally committed to Virginia Tech. Unbelievable skill level for a 6’11 kid. With that said, he far from dominated in high school. Only wanted to roam around the 3 point line and shoot 3’s. Better offensive game than Isaac (IMO) but would not be as good a rebounder. Very thin, but more lateral quickness.

I mean that sounds like the potential is there. Worst case Isaac Johnson type player, who I think has nkt reached his ceiling either as far as what he could be capable of

Really hard to tell here as the competition is way down the MWC but imho.
