Moneyball

Post by hipsterdoofus21 » March 28th, 2024, 8:08 am

I posted this on Twitter, but I’ll post it here too. I think so much of this can apply to this past week in USU basketball, from the perspective of Sprinkle, the players, and even the fans.
There were many (myself included) that tried to tell everyone to enjoy this journey and this group while we could.

We spent a fraction what many schools spend on coaches with Craig Smith, Ryan Odom, and Danny Sprinkle, and we got 3 buyouts on top of that. In the 6 seasons, we got 5 NCAA tournaments, 1 NIT, and 2 AP top 25 seasons. We were overall 146-56 in those 6 seasons. We are the moneyball team of college basketball.
