Am I reading too much into the radio silence from USU?
Usually by now we would have seen a “we wish Coach Sprinkle well and will now conduct a thorough nationwide search for a new coach” PR statement from the school.
The fact we haven’t heard a peep suggests to me we may already have our guy and are just going to announce the new coach shortly. These tweets from Scotty G are feeding my thoughts on this:

Diana Sabau is not even on campus at the moment. I don't have insider info on this one, but I guessed that she was told by DS when the contract offer was made.

Just like the women’s coach had to announce her own firing, the new men’s coach will announce his own hiring.

Makes sense. Balances things out. BJ Rains will have to tweet how great it is, too.EngineeringAggie wrote: ↑March 25th, 2024, 4:06 pmJust like the women’s coach had to announce her own firing, the new men’s coach will announce his own hiring.

Re: Am I reading too much into the radio silence from USU?
You mean, contract extension offer, correct? If so, this is the same information I have — by same individual that shared approximate Washington offer amount last night.
That’s why I made several posts as to the stunning offer he received last night. This individual is part of USU so I don’t know how else he would know the amount of the offer had Danny not been upfront with USU. I’m sure he appreciated the extension, but we couldn’t begin to match.

I think the PR Statement from USU should state something to this effect:ineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 25th, 2024, 3:59 pmUsually by now we would have seen a “we wish Coach Sprinkle well and will now conduct a thorough nationwide search for a new coach” PR statement from the school.

Coach Sprinkle has accepted a position with the University of Washington and NOBODY (I can't express myself without swearing) CARES!!!

Has Diana purchased a house in CV or is she working on it?

Would make sense, given the proximity to Indianapolis.

She's in Seattle negotiating to be AD there and take every student and nearby building (except old farm) with her.ViAggie wrote:I believe that's where she's at today.shoresy wrote: ↑March 25th, 2024, 4:16 pmNot sure, but her family still lives in Chicago.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑March 25th, 2024, 4:15 pmHas Diana purchased a house in CV or is she working on it?
