And now we wait…
How long before we hear news about sprinkle?
*Insert scene from the office with Dwight*
“Could be 1 day, could be 2 days”
How about 3 days?
“Maybe”
How about 4 days?
“I could see that”
How about a full week?
“That’s a realistic timeline”

No hard feelings towards Sprinkle when he leaves. Winning a tournament game is all we’ve ever asked for and he delivered in 1 year at the helm.

Roster changes? Obviously, certain players may leave with Sprinkle.
Do we keep Sakho? He doesn't seem to listen to any coaching. Let Burris go?

His foul rate is off the charts. Yes. He's not listening. He plays because we need size, but on a deeper roster, he'd have no playing time.bigblue32 wrote: ↑March 24th, 2024, 3:06 pmSakho doesn’t listen to any coaching? Burris was by far the biggest disappointment on this team. He should head back to the Big Sky

Does Great(and others) follow Sprinkle?
I think it depends on who we hire as a new coach. I think this group of guys will want to wait and see but will want to run it back. Osobor only has one year left. Do you take a chance in the Big 10 or have a killer senior year at a place you love, in a league that will give just as good a chance for a professional career.

Are we going to try to find a married LDS coach that doesn't need a bar and LOVES the local culture?

Great isn’t staying in Logan if Sprinkle leaves. I contend he may get an offer he can’t refuse that isn’t with Sprinkle.apo wrote: ↑March 24th, 2024, 3:16 pmDoes Great(and others) follow Sprinkle?

Re: And now we wait…
Honestly, if we can get a new coach hired quickly and get at least Falslev, Johnson, and Jackson committed to staying we’d be miles ahead of where we were last year.
Take whatever donor money was going to the Sprink extension and reallocate it as NIL money to hold onto as many of the “keeper” players as possible.

Re: And now we wait…
I actually had expectations for Burris tho. Grant did nothing at Washington. I never thought he’d be a critical piece of this team. Many of us thought Burris would be a starter. From shooting 40% from 3 to not making a single one all yearineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 24th, 2024, 3:17 pmJackson Grant says hold myAggiesbleedblue wrote: ↑March 24th, 2024, 3:09 pmBurris was by far the biggest disappointment on this team. I heard that our AD fired Sprinkle right after the game, before the post game press conference.
