I'm telling you folks it is all about the almighty dollar. Stanford is as dead of a fanbase when it comes to basketball games as there is, but coaches will turn a blind eye to it because of the almighty dollar. This is one of the reasons why I respect guys like Mark Few and even Dutcher from San Diego State because those guys are happy where they're at and they feel that 1.3-1.5M a year with great stability is a pretty awesome situation. I feel the same way as them. However, I know I would be in the minority in that. To me when it comes to standard of living $1.5M will help me have stability and accomplish all my dreams versus double that payment and have instability or have it be unknown. Maybe it's because I'm more of a minimalist.
