The MW is what it is, a nice mid-tier conference with teams that are little more than first round cannon fodder for middle of the pack P5 schools.

That’s the difference between regular season and tournament play. Your opponent won’t give it up. You have to play the full 40 min.

People blasting the MW are conveniently ignoring the awful performances by a lot of major conf teams yeah, sec and acc, big 12 doesn’t look amazing so far either

Would be nice if we could pull off a couple of these games though

I agree though, I’ve been touting up UNM here all season and getting some flack for it, they’re the most talented team all around the MW has had in a while besides sdsu last year
