Thought this was an interesting game preview article. This writer picks USU and seems to think USU was playing better ball than TCU at the end of the season. Says, once you take away the top scorer on each team, USU has more contributors than TCU.

When considering our odds this year due yourself a favor and forget our past performances in the tournament and just focus on this year's team vs this year's TCU team. There is not one individual on this team that lost any of the previous tourney games. We definitely have a team that can do it this year. This is our most athletic team ever. Most clutch team ever. We will be rested, healed up, prepared, and hungry. Could we still lose? Of course. But we are not losing because of last year's team or the Smith led teams that lost to TT and Wash.

Others have shared my sentiments about USU and trending down against NM, Fresno, and SDSU. On a neutral court, I think NM beats us.

Maybe that will swing in the other direction if a few more MWC teams win.
