New Mexico wins. It puts them in the NCAA tournament which means more money for everyone in the MWC.

New Mexico has added pressure to win being a present bubble team. Dayton will be in but lost to Duquense so someone's bubble got popped. Ironically VCU is the highest seed left in the A10.

Would suck a little if New Mexico didn’t make it in. But in terms of our hopes of winning a title, I like how we match up with Boise and CSU a lot better than how we match up with UNM or Nevada in a hypothetical championship matchup. Would sort of be a win for us (if we can win tomorrow) if it’s one of those two coming out of that side of the bracket.

Regardless of matchup I just don’t want Boise winning and would rather have NM get in

The epitome of little man syndrome. It all makes so much more sense now - kid was probably bullied all growing up.

I have to give him some respect though. He disrupts games with his play style. Would never be the style I’d want on an Aggie player, but to each their own

Most mock brackets still have New Mexico missing the tournament, but I think that is groupthink/insanity. You're telling me that the #23 NET team with a 4-6 Q1 record and 3-1 Q2 record is going to miss the tournament? I have to think that bracket pundits are just looking at wins and losses in the conference tournaments and aren't actually looking at resumes right now. I'm confident that the MWC will have six bids when all is said and done.

Anyone have a quick table/synopsis of how much the MwC takes home based on number of teams in first round, number of teams in second round, etc.?

Agreed, they are in safely at this point in my opinion. They are really talented and can give teams fits.

UNM, House, and Dent played really well. Glad to see Rice and the boys go down. I will however be hoping they win in the tourney.

I was rooting for New Mexico because I wanted a six-bid MWC. I found myself silently cheering every time Rice took a shot because I knew that it meant 0 BSU points on that possession.
