Mw rivalry
Below is an example where other fanbases don’t like usu. it seems to be something I see often on Twitter. The one Wyoming fan complaining about us, Boise can’t get us out of their heads in regards to basketball.
I take this as more of a compliment that we have been successful. Both football and basketball has won alot of games in this conferences

All the teams in the conference would fall into either true hatred or general hate for me. I want the Aggies to smash all of them, isn't that the purpose of being in the same conference?

I am just a country bumpkin but I have just never understood hating a team for trying to win games or their fans rooting for those teams..

It's hard to give credibility to a CSU fan that has that many teams that are above Wyoming on this chart.

I don't hate UNLV for giving us fits, or New Mexico for taking us to the woodshed (including House). I hate "the Show", but not the SDSU athletes and coaches. Dutcher is a classy dude that just looks like a used car salesman. Boise St is just so easily hateable across the board. I have had good interactions with some of their fans, but it's hard to throw a rock without it bouncing off the inflated egos of the collective. Also Leon Rice sucks.

I'm with spuds on this one, guys. I can't stand Leon. Kind of like how I can't stand Randy Bennett. I loathe BYU. I'm ambivalent about Utah. Everything else just is.

Didn't you ever see the epic thread on this subject from the MWC board? I think it was initially due to the fact that we tried to blow up the conference before we joined. And when we finally did join, historically we hadn't been very good, so other conference teams were upset because they thought we would be another SJSU dragging the conference down. And then suddenly we started actually winning stuff, which made people even more angry that the team they looked down their noses at for so long was suddenly beating them. I feel like someone needs to write a sociology dissertation about why the MWC hates USU so much. There is a lot to unpack there.

Such short memories in Reno. The stench had two guys make a late hit out of bounds on a UN RB, trashing his leg and his career. Seething hatred was all we heard out of Reno for years.

For a long time that was the longest running thread on MW board. It needs to be bumped if USU ends up winning the conference. Nevada has had multiple games against BYU in football and basketball before.
