6'9" F Kiree Huie from Odessa JC in Texas, the #23 ranked JC player by JucoRecruiting and 1st team all conference WJCAC, reopened his recruiting yesterday. He was committed to Montana State. Averaged 12 and 7.
You like him?
Hi Roy. Yes, I like him. He led Odessa, the #8 JC team, in scoring, rebounding, blocks(1.6) and minutes played. He plays long, up to his 6'9"-6'10". Not slow, not a stiff, what would probably be called athletic. Gets up and down the floor, good leaper, quick around the basket. Has a nice hook shot. Long arms, lean at 215. He doesn't shoot the 3 at all, but shot 61% fg. He committed to Montana State back in January and had 5 or 6 other offers at that time. He probably would have had more if he would have waited longer to commit.

There's another JC big that Sprinkle offered while at Montana State. An Australian who plays at Garden City JC in Kansas, Buru Naivalurua. 6'8" 215, excellent athlete. There are highlight videos of him on Youtube. He was 1st team all Region 5 JC as well as 1st team all Jayhawk Conference defense and 2nd team NJCAA All American. Has an inside/outside game, and while he didn't shoot a lot of 3s, maybe 1 a game, he hit 39%. Averaged 15 and 10. He hasn't committed yet. He's a rs freshman eligible to transfer to D1 and has 15 offers so far.

Hard to say, but to me it looks like both could play in the MW. Sprinkle must have liked both, and someone on his staff seems to have a good eye for bigs.

Yes he is an aggie legend. I thought of this same thing watching this kid. He is right in that liberal, garden city area.

Updated the original post. I'm seeing a MINIMUM of 4 more scholarships available, but likely more of all of the Odom recruits don't make their way to Logan.

Zee Hamoda is the only player left on the team that actually played any minutes as an Aggie last year. Ouch 😳

To be fair, it is more likely to be Falslev’s team(of the returning guys), or someone yet to be named.

Brown is a veteran and knows how Sprinkle operates. He would slide in nicely as a team leader.

Yeah, surprised I have not seen it on here yet. We really need a couple point guards.

I’ll take Brown and Roddie iii please……and throw in Baker as a sg for good measure. Image Add them to Falslev and we’d have a great group of guards.

I admit to not knowing these players and their strengths very well, but it seems like, in addition to another PG, the other place we are thin is the three.

Hamoda, Dallin Grant(who may need a redshirt year), and?

Is Agbonkpolo a three? Burris?

We are plenty deep there. Agbonkpolo, Zee, grant and Burris can play the 3 and 4.

So right now it looks something like this?

G) Darius Brown
G) Mason Falslev, Zee Hamoda
F) Nigel Burris, Max Agbonkpolo, Garrison Phelps
F) Great Osobor, Isaac Johnson, Karson Templin, Dallin Grant
C) Jackson Grant, Kalifa Sakho

We better land a stellar Guard with that last spot (assuming Phelps and Sakho actually come).

Only one spot. I would not take Sakho. We need 2 guards that are scorers, and at least one of them should have good point skills.

I would switch positions with Zee and Phelps, but otherwise looks good. I agree that we need another guard, although we were told last year that Falslev was preparing to be a PG, so I could see him sliding over when Brown needs a rest, especially if someone else steps up and demands minutes at the two.

A reliable source posted that he isn't coming, though I have nothing official from the school or Kalifa himself. If we hear otherwise I'll add him to the list again.

1 - Darius Brown II (COVID Sr.) (Montana St. Transfer)
2 - Max Agbonkpolo (COVID Sr.) (Wyoming Tranfser)
3 - Great Osobor (Jr.) (Montana St. Transfer)
4 - Jackson Grant (Jr.) (Washington Transfer)
5 - Josh Uduje (Jr.) (Coastal Carolina Transfer)
6 - Isaac Johnson (RsSo.)
7 - Nigel Burris (So.) (Idaho Transfer)
8 - Mason Falslev (RsFr.)
9 - Garrison Phelps (Fr.)
10 - Karson Templin (Fr.)
11 - Dallin Grant (Fr.)
12 -
13 -

Walkons:
- Landon Brenchley (So.) (Preferred)
Good looking squad…
1 - Brown/Falslev
2 - Falslev/Uduje/Phelps
3 - Burris/Agbonkpolo/Uduje/Phelps
4 - Johnson/J. Grant/Templin/Agbonkpolo/Burris
5 - Osobor/J. Grant/Johnson

Lots of options and depth everywhere, can play some position-less ball at times. Looks like 10 deep right now, Templin maybe could redshirt with D Grant depending on if we bring in anyone else. Sahko would still fit this roster pretty well tbh

Looking at this roster, they must feel really good about Falslev as a PG.

Added Jaxon Smith. Anyone know if he's a "preferred" walk on or not?

Just added D2 transfer guard Javon Jackson. Looks like that’s the final piece!

Who would have thought that 2 weeks ago many here were $hitting themselves because we didn't have any players?
