Bairstow
Sean deserves a thread.
Against UNM he went 8 for 12 (2 for 3 from 3) and goes for 20 points.
I'm guessing that CSU took notice and had some specific game prep for him.
He follows it up with 4 for 8 (3 for 4) and 9 assists.
1 TO in each game so his assist to TO ratio in those two games is 5.5:1. That is an eye-popping number from a SF.
And in those 2 games he is 5 for 7 from 3 (71%).
What a treat to see him playing so well.

Re: Bairstow
He played awesome. Funk and Ashworth were draining threes but Bairstow set them up a lot with getting to the paint and then passing out for in rhythm shots. He is playing at a high level.

I better understand now the pre-season comments that this was Bairstow's team.SectionBAggie wrote: ↑February 4th, 2023, 9:18 pmSean deserves a thread.

Re: Bairstow
Yeah, I was skeptical of that talk as well, but I will happily eat crow. Bairstow has improved tremendously. The 3 pt shooting is obvious, but he has also improved as a passer and ball-handler. IIRC, there was some idea that he could play PG early in his career. He showed some of those skills last night and it's great to seem him playing with poise and confidence.Real Life Aggie wrote: ↑February 5th, 2023, 12:52 amI better understand now the pre-season comments that this was Bairstow's team.

Re: Bairstow
Actually I’d add dorius as well. His minutes just keep going up. Has become more than serviceable. Really quite amazing what the staff has done with him.
