There goes another Q2 game...
With UNLV losing to Fresno... Also essentially eliminated a Q1 opportunity on the road.
We are now 4-0 in Q2, 10-0 in Q3. CSU tonight is Q2, but if we beat them tonight it will likely be a Q3 win as they are sitting at 133 today (135 cutoff for road games). All of our Q2 games seem to be trending in the wrong direction. The half of the WCC that we beat keeps losing. You'd think at some point some of those teams would start winning and get back over the cusp? But honestly, I think it's more likely WSU loses today and drops out of Q2 as well

WSU needs to drop 27 spots to fall to Q3. That’s a major major defeat tonight. I think you thought they would fall at 75 as well, but they were neutral site.

Bradley is on the cusp of being a Q2 so lets hope they can move up a few and keep winning.

Re: There goes another Q2 game...
We have so many games in the Q2/Q3 border regions of the quadrant, so you’ll go insane watching the daily count of Q2/Q3 wins. We really have only one win right now that we can count on staying at least a Q2 — that’s UNM. WSU isn’t a great team, and ORU just needs to take one bad Summit League loss and that party’s over.
Let’s just let it shake out how it does. We just need to keep winning.

Re: There goes another Q2 game...
Our fate rests in the hands of how we do at home against UNR, BSU and SDS and how we fare on the road against CSU, SJS, WYO and UNLV. Win and our NET will take care of itself, largely irrespective of the margins of victory since the point spreads in those games will probably be less than 7, as will our seeding into the MWC tournament. Relying on our opponents to do their part to strengthen our NET is a fool’s errand. Just win, Baby!flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑February 4th, 2023, 5:52 amWith UNLV losing to Fresno... They are on the cusp of being Q2 because they were Q2 a few days ago and just dropped.
Re: There goes another Q2 game...
I’m sure a couple of our WCC opponents will win tonight.flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑February 4th, 2023, 5:52 amWith UNLV losing to Fresno... Also essentially eliminated a Q1 opportunity on the road.

LMU beat St Mary's tonight. They were at a net of 100. Will probably go up to about 90. Keeps them solidly in a quad 2 win for the Aggies.

They are 2-2 vs q1 and 8-0 vs q4. Road win vs 12 and home vs 6.Aggie84025 wrote:LMU beat St Mary's tonight. They were at a net of 100. Will probably go up to about 90. Keeps them solidly in a quad 2 win for the Aggies.
We are a 4 seed if we do that.
