Go back and look at what people said about Bairstow and Shulga after their 2nd year. Zee is ahead of both those 2 . Also, he is the best defender on the team.

Did he struggle last night, yep. It happens.

I keep seeing you say Zee is the best defender on the team. By what metric? He got abused defensively against NM. In the last 7 games, the meat of our schedule, he has averaged 11 minutes/game and has a total of 12 points, 9 TOs, 10 PFs, 16 rebounds (impressive) and 2 assists. His A/TO ratio of 0.22 is unimaginably bad. And his +/- has been terribly negative in each of those 7 games except for a +2 against Wyoming and a +6 against Fresno St. — both blowout Aggie wins.

By what metrics? How about because the grad coach says so. Go watch the SDSU game. See was bad on offense, but good on defense.

Again Barstow and Shulga didn’t play their first two years. Now look at them.

Zee’s struggles have not been sporadic, they have been consistant, with three exceptions since mid-December.
