Seriously. He has even come into this game hitting 8/12 and has gone 6/6 tonight. He has been one of the best 3pt shooters for a long time. Stop giving weak help defense that isn’t even helping, it’s just leaving Seiko open. Stop!

That was strange. On all but one of Seiikos 3's he was wide open.

Seiko has been the difference. Played well against the other Aztecs but Seiko killed the Aggies in the first.

Come on, he averages 7 points a game. Not a big threat. He is also 6'3" and could simply shoot over Ashworth a few times, then we switched, he was not picked up fast enough. No way he was on the our d playbook. He just got hot and we failed to adjust.

We're either afraid or not strong enough to knock a guy on his butt when he starts getting hot. Sometimes you have to be physical with a guy to get him out of his rhythm. It may take a foul or two, but it must be done. We don't do that.

I don’t think the problem is guarding shooters so much as it is stopping dribble penetration. Guys are constantly helping off shooters because the perimeter defenders are getting beat at the point of attack or dying on screens.

Funk will lose his man off ball sometimes, but, for the most part, I think the problem is at the point of attack and this team simply does not have the personnel to address that weakness. Fortunately, the offense is good enough to paper over most of the defensive shortcomings.
