When was the last time the Aggies have had this deep of a team? Seems like 1-10 is just dominant. Everyone has their turns if someone else is off. Exhausting to play against and try and stop

When is the last time we were 8 deep then? The depth has been great. Ashworth... something happened. Must've gotten the wrong eggnog pregame? Anyway, didn't matter that he was basically chucking balls into the stands after basically carrying us to victory the last two games. The defense stepped up and limited turnovers, and other players picked up points.

Also Bairstow had a good game for the first time in a few games.

The team so far is turning out to be pretty deep. It was great to win when the 2 high scorers going into the game had off nights. Loved seeing Bairstow play to his ability tonight. I am so impressed so far by this team. So far they are blowing my expectations out of the water. They are likeable group as well which makes it even more fun to cheer for.

This is what I’m thinking. Our recent teams have really been 3/4 deep at most. Mostly Sam, Bean, and Queta, then a bunch of dudes. I wouldn’t even classify Bean as a guy you could give the ball too and get a bucket until after Sam and Queta had left. (He was very good, just not a scorer yet)

Feels like our great teams always just had 1 really great player, then a good one to go with it, then a bunch of role players that couldn’t really score. This team is the opposite.

And those past teams would have a follicly challenged guy who continuously chucked up bricks while refusing to pass. In contrast, I really like the unselfish nature of this team.

Ashworth was feeling the weight of guilt playing on a Sunday. He'll be okay going forward.

That's a bit of a homerism. Let's see what this team can do in conference play. We tend to lose games that we shouldn't in the mwc and that team you speak of really didn't lose games it shouldn't lose.

But were they deep? Yep. Is this team proving to be deep? Yep.

That team did lose to a 17-13 Boise State team and pretty handily to a 18-13 Long Beach State team, both on the road, if you want to be strict and call those games you shouldn't lose.

I thought THAT team (1999-2000) went 16-0 in league play and ended 26-8 after getting beat by UCLA (after they beat Ohio State) in the tournament. Are we talking about the same team, GameFAQSAggie?

The 99-00 team went 16-0 in conference and won the tournament. They lost to UConn in the first round.
The 00-01 team beast OSU and lost to UCLA.
