A thought in passing...
There has been talk about the role of a redshirt year with today's players. And while I don't have any detailed analysis to look at, I will submit that the Isaac Johnson that I was watching during halftime warmups is very happy as an Aggie. Looked to be true in the locker room celebration as well.

That’s good. We are a pretty deep team this year and there are a lot of mouths to feed. Next year we lose a lot and playing time willSectionBAggie wrote:There has been talk about the role of a redshirt year with today's players. be available. I hope Falslev is in the same camp and willing to wait a year. With Jones gone I see him stepping in and playing the #1 and #2 slots behind Ashworth and Shulga. Should be a really good season next year.

I don't know that we are deeper this year than most other years. We have essentially an 8- man rotation with Eytle-Rock getting 5 - 12 minutes per game as the ninth man.scotlandog wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2022, 11:36 amThat’s good. Johnson and Falslev will be depended on a lot next year. What is the deal with the kid from Cedar City? Is he back next year? Will Odom hold his scholarship? I can't imagine he'll be ready for significant minutes his first year.

He's in the innercity Minneapolis, and has been since early summer -plays ball at least weekly with city kids.
He's planning on US, hopes to be on campus in August 2023.
I'm not sure on Odom's thoughts.

I agree about the Teton Valley. His response to you from the practice also indicated that he is very happy here. Seems like a pretty tight knit team with good chemistry. Speaks well of Odom.SectionBAggie wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2022, 10:56 amThere has been talk about the role of a redshirt year with today's players. I am pretty sure he does whether he uses it I have no clue. I do know him and Mason are great friends. Rylan may want to come back to play with a year with Mason.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2022, 3:15 pmDoesn’t Jones have a COVID year left?scotlandog wrote: ↑November 23rd, 2022, 11:36 amThat’s good.
