He can’t recruit at all. His only hope is with Foreign guys and the guy who got him all those guys is now the head coach At South Dakota.

Talking about foreign guys, we are probably the most divers team in the NCAA. We only had one American on the court a couple of times tonight.

Oh what might have been with Craig as head coach and Duryea as an assistant with his recruiting chops. A pairing like that could have been very good.

Yeah, Craig really needed a recruiter to win more than 3 conference titles in three years at Utah State. Oh wait... welll... doesn't matter, he got lucky to have Merrill and Queta fell into his lap. Otherwise he would've lost every game. Guy is TERRIBLE.

And I agree, without his main recruiter he wouldn't have been a good recruiter!

100% true. And his problem at USU is he didn't hire the kind of assistants that helped with recruiting.

I think his player development is as much of a weakness as his recruiting is. I mean Worster has essentially been the same guy for 3 years now, meanwhile Shulga, Ashworth and Bairstow have all drastically improved under Odom.

Craig was a good coach for us. He will always be a little disliked because he left here for Utah, and it happened really fast. This season is doing a lot to mend my bad feelings towards him.

I might be in the minority with this, but even though I hoped and thought he would stick around, once he left I really didn’t think much of it. Just like I don’t think much about stew or duryea anymore. I watch and cheat for the Aggies. The others have moved on.

Utah is a Football school. Even when I was a student there and Rick Majerus had things going for them, the overall sentiment on campus was... "basketball, meh"

Craig was a great coach and did great things here. I don't know why people try and throw shade at him. To win 2 conference crowns and 3 straight tournaments is something that does not happen often. I was skeptical with Odom's first year which I think was warranted. So far this year Odom is proving me wrong which is great.
