San Diego Game
Anyone else getting a bit nervous about this game?
With a bunch of players apparently battling the stomach bug, and Ashworth probably not 100%, we are going to need some dudes to step up.

Re: San Diego Game
I didn't realize players were battling stomach bugs. Even with a full strength team this was going to be a tough game. Lavin is a good coach and brought in a bunch of transfers that are solid players. The team will need to play well in order to get the victory.AGGIEinIOWA wrote: ↑November 17th, 2022, 3:55 pmAnyone else getting a bit nervous about this game?

San Diego Game
Shawn Harrison reported it in the HJ News article. Doesn’t name players.

Re: San Diego Game
Everyone who is a Division 1 basketball player has heard the story about Michael Jordan playing with the flu and gets this idea that if he can do it, so can they thinking it's the rule that you play better with the flu, without realizing MJ was an exception, not the rule.AGGIEinIOWA wrote: ↑November 17th, 2022, 3:55 pmWith a bunch of players apparently battling the stomach bug,
This also could be the night Spencer tells the story about when playing while he was sick.

San Diego Game
The star player on my HS team got a stomach bug the morning or our state championship game. He received a couple IV’s and gutted it out but didn’t score at all and just wasn’t himself. We lost. Good news was he felt and played much better the following day when we played in the 3rd place game. Hopefully this stomach virus on the Aggies popped up a day or two ago.

Reading up on their starters…impressive group. Several contributors from the p5 and a former Weber kid.

I get that it's easy to share germs when your in regular close contact, but someone's got to get these guys to stop sharing sippy cups.

Now there’s a dedicated Aggie fan! Hope you’re feeling better! Need to ask. Did you happen to have close contact with the team this week?

Re: San Diego Game
This San Diego doesn’t get much by way of fan support eh? And their arena looks like it doubles as a Medieval Times when not being used for hoops. Also this announcer has real “the hot dog is off the mustard” energy.

You should check out how active their message board is: https://toreroworld.boards.net/
They need to get those cardboard cutouts that so many teams used during the Covid season.

21 seconds away from finding out if the close game luck bug is going to bite this team again.

The Akin traveling call (completely bogus) was a killer but man that Williams cat can’t miss. Unreal.

What a game and ballsy win for USU. half the team sick first road game. Overcoming a historic scoring performance. Ballsy.

What horrific reffing too. I want to see that final Ashworth shot again. Was that really just a 2?

I thought the last shot by USD was late. Had it gone in, I sure hope the review would have agreed with me.
But then again, it was a win

Re: San Diego Game
What a great win! There were several times the team could have hung their head and lost, but they gritted it out!

Not sure which call was worse the Akin travel or the foul on Shulga late
Gutsy win though
