Re: Jordan Barnes
After watching every highlight I could find I am left . I have to assume this is a preferred walkon?
Welcome aboard Jordan.

Re: Jordan Barnes
Averaged 9.8 assists as a 6'3" HS sophomore? Any body ever hear of those kind of numbers?

We've got two of these young guys committed now...they've got two years to continue to develop. That will be a fun journey to watch!

Re: Jordan Barnes
I like it. From what I've learned on the football forum it's important to recruit Utah kids, because otherwise how would they know that they should try to beat Weber State?

Re: Jordan Barnes
Hopefully he grows a bit...up and out. He has an awkward shooting motion with a two-handed push but maybe that will change by the time he is a Senior.

Re: Jordan Barnes
9.8 assists as a sophomore? Holy crap. And at 6’3”, that’s a kid you take and develop. If I’ve learned anything from being a parent, it’s that you can’t teach sharing.

Re: Jordan Barnes
Well, I should have noticed these were mostly Sophomore highlights so that makes a bit of difference. It will be interesting to see how he develops.

Re: Jordan Barnes
Just curious how accurate the numbers are tracked these days?SectionBAggie wrote: ↑September 15th, 2022, 11:45 amAveraged 9.8 assists as a 6'3" HS sophomore? Any body ever hear of those kind of numbers?

These numbers are incredible! High school games are still 32 minutes right, or am I thinking incorrectly?
Haven’t watched the highlights but hoping he gets better and develops.

Re: Jordan Barnes
I agree! This is great! Both of these young guys (the Fremont kid) are just, like 15 years old, maybe 16. They have so much physical growth ahead of them. Not to mention the basketball skills they are going to gain in the next 2 years.
Also, I think the Fremont kid is a mission kid. Is Barnes also a mission kid?

What am I missing with these last two signings? I want to find a reason to be excited about USU basketball again.

Signing potential, not a finished product. Not sure if it will pan out. Hopefully they’ll be dominant before they finish their high school “careers”.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑September 17th, 2022, 9:18 amWhat am I missing with these last two signings? If both kids sophomore seasons are indication, they are on their way to very successful high school careers.Pacobag wrote: ↑September 17th, 2022, 11:05 amSigning potential, not a finished product. Re: Jordan Barnes
From Jordan's twitter TL, it looks as if he also got an offer from Stanford the same day he committed to USU. Did I see that right @aggies22 ?
