It's not Jaxon and he is transferring here. That is what I'm hearing. Aggies22 was first on the story so I'm not passing on the name. He brings plenty of diversity to our team. Hopefully the news is out soon so we can discuss. I feel he will be a very solid rotational player for us.

I'll second that. 100% NOT Jaxon Brenchley. I've had a tweet and an update to my website ready to go since Monday night. All I am waiting for is the go ahead to release the info.

Yes, thanks for the update. You had me excited until the last sentence. I had hoped for 3-4 new starters going into this next season and so far we have gotten 1. It seems our entire roster is full of rotational guys.

What’s your personal opinion, on maybe USU landing a Scoring 2/3? I mean do you think they can do it for next season?

Or maybe the coaches see that type of scorer in Funk??

Since the word “rotational player” was used I’m going to guess this mystery guy is a solid PF but 22 doesn’t see him starting over Funk. Someone that will definitely see the floor though and spell off Funk or play along with him when we play a smaller lineup (aka without Johnson or our other 7 footers).

I agree, if Funk were to go down with an injury we don’t have another option except playing someone out of position. Every other position atleast has options.

Thought I do like Udeze if that is the guy. Potter plays Funks position so we do have a back up.

I like a Udeze but doesn’t he only have one year of eligibility left, same as Funk? Perhaps Udeze and Funk for a year buys us some time to further develop Potter and can always bring in another transfer next year too.

In that case I’m hoping it’s a guy that plays similar to some of oregons big. Long athletic dudes that can defend and rebound
