Disappointed but not shocked at Bean being left out. Him vs. Maldanado could be argued both ways. Interesting that first place BSU had no one on first team.

Can't really argue with that. We needed to end up higher in the conference standings if Bean wanted first team.

Who called that Bean would end up being a much better 3 pt shooter than Maldanado? And Maldanado ain't that great.

Rumor has it we would’ve won a couple more games but Bean wasn’t all that interested in being first team.

Who thinks the second team could beat the first team?

Exactly! There's a case to be made for all 10 1st and 2nd guys to be on 1st team. 1-10 is a really strong lineup and it shows in that there isn't a guy on 3rd team (Sherfield, Cambridge, House, Mashburn and Horvath) that I would consider moving up a tier.

What does it say about the caliber of the conference when the Defensive Player of the Year ends up on the 3rd team!

Nothing… it shows that the conference tries to prop up SDSU :joking:

Really though, the conference is deep this season, both with teams and individual players.

I think that Bean was the 7th or 8th best player in the conference this year. He's right where he should be.
