Close Games

Post by scotlandog » January 18th, 2022, 11:06 pm

We can’t get out of our own way to win games. We are our own worst enemies down the stretch in games. We lose our minds and play like idiots when it’s right.

The refs are our second worst enemies.

The other team is our last enemy.

Weak-minded. Loser mentality, unable to believe in themselves. These aren't basketball problems.

I wonder what it’s like to experience a clutch 3 pointer to ice/win a game. Forgotten the feeling since Sam left.

The problem is much less an inability to close out close games and much more an inability to hit enough 3's to pull away. Even with bad shooting from 3, the Aggies are 5-0 in conference, but bad shooting would be an enormous improvement over what we've seen.

That thread is a discussion about close games. This one is just angry venting.
