Cavs have a lot of guys out so Merrill got some time last night. He should get 15-20 minutes of action tonight in the Garden.


Edit: Well wrong about this prediction. Levert came back and took the minutes Merrill would have got. Glad Emoni Bates got zero minutes. I watched the 4th quarter last night and there were several times Bates could have hit an open Merrill for 3 and didn't do it. Too bad Queta has a foot injury. Boston won tonight by 51 so he would have got some playing time.

Why are they not highlighting RJ Eytle-Rock? Isn't he playing professionally?

The title says “Aggies in the NBA”.

The scoreboard highlights in the Spectrum say Aggies in the Pro’s. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to include Bean.

Merrill got a lot of playing time tonight. 3-9 from 3. Hopefully just a few more drop next time he gets this much of an opportunity.

There has never been a pro athlete that I have personally wanted to succeed more than I want Sam to succeed.

Yeah seems like a first class person and someone that has worked extremely hard to get where he is at. He easily could have just gone to Europe after he was cut by Memphis, but here he is getting meaningful minutes in a win over the defending champs.

Sam Merrill had his best game of the season. Obviously it was in garbage time, but 3-5 from 3 with 9 pts in 17 minutes.

Queta got his first points of the season in a good showing for Boston.

Yeah that was his best stint of the season. Played in meaningful minutes in a close game and shot well.

Queta didn't start. They started some guy named Lamar Stevens as their biggest man as a 6'7" PF.

Stevens has appeared in 7 games, averaging 4 minutes, 1.9 points, and 1 board per game.

Sam played 7 minutes today, all in the first half and scored 9 pts on 3-6 from 3. Had a rebound and an assist. +4 +/-. Didn't see the floor in the second half.

He's getting his most consistent quality NBA minutes this past while. He's making shots, seems to have figured out his ankle. Really hoping he gets more time and that next contract

He had a great game in limited minutes a few nights ago. He's starting to play like an NBA starter. Dude is crazy fu*king talented!

He was the player of the game for the Cavs and hit a dagger 3 in overtime.

How cool is that! Happy for him.

Queta getting 13 minutes of PT vs. Clips in the first half. 5pts and 9 boards already. PT largely due to Porzingus being out, but it still seems that he's solidifying a role on the Celts and perhaps his G League days are few and far between if at all.

Interesting that he and Horford were on the floor at the same time.

EDIT: Finished with double-double (14/12), 1TO, with a +14 in 22 minutes. And of course,the 5 obligatory fouls.

So for you guys that are up on NBA stuff, how does the acquisition of Xavier Tillman by the C's effect Nemi? Back to G-league and probably not on playoff roster?

In Cleveland for work tonight, nice consolation the Cavs were in town tonight. Bought a ticket, mainly to see Sam. He was a late scratch due to illness. Unlucky.
