That was a pretty specific call out for what concert it sounded like. What does a Harry Styles concert sound like? Is it different than any other concert and how many Harry Styles concerts have you attended?dogie wrote: ↑April 10th, 2022, 8:13 amThe crowd sounds like they thought they were at aMarioWest wrote: ↑April 10th, 2022, 6:15 amImpressive block here. Re: Aggies in the NBA
It’s a little off topic, but now that you ask, we saw One Direction in Wembley Stadium in 2014. It was the first time they had played there, almost in their own backyard and, along with two more concerts there during the week, the only time. What a show!frankiesaysrelax wrote: ↑April 12th, 2022, 2:34 pmThat was a pretty specific call out for what concert it sounded like. What does a Harry Styles concert sound like? Harry played there solo earlier this year, but I didn’t make it.
That’s my son there in the photo. At age 15, he was a little irritated about being there.
My three daughters loved it. Take a look at the rest of the crowd!

I stumbled across this long, in-depth thread on Bean. I don’t know anything about the analyst’s credentials, but it’s an interesting read with some good stats and videos

Bean didn't make the combine So now he has to impress during the team workout circuit. Mentioned as a major snub by USA Today:

Re: Aggies in the NBA
Sam saw about 9 and a half mins in the Kings' preseason game vs the Lakers today. Played well.
Queta 7 mins left in the game. Played pretty good as well.
Lakers have no depth. Like at all. Their bench shouldn't even be in the NBA.

Re: Aggies in the NBA
Sams back to back threes were beautiful. When he gets hot he can’t miss. He also played very smart. Queta also did good! He is one of the best screen setters and his length helps. He had a sweet alley oop. If the Kings are smart they will play both of them off the bench during the season. They could be valuable assets that play hard and smart. It’s so awesome that two of my favorite Aggies are playing together!brownjeans wrote: ↑October 3rd, 2022, 10:36 pmSam saw some good action in the Kings' preseason game vs the Lakers today. It is crazy, I actually watch them play in this game. I didn't really enjoy the game, but watching them play was awesome. Merrill's threes were money.

Re: Aggies in the NBA
Played a great game but I wish he would have been a little more aggressive with the ball in his hands at the top of the key - too often he'd get the ball and instantly pass out. He demonstrated that he's a good teammate, plays within the flow and wasn't out to "get his" like the other guys. BUT, that might be exactly what you have to do to get noticed.
Sam belongs but he needs to be more aggressive in proving it during his limited opportunities IMO.

Re: Aggies in the NBA
I watched Justin Bean suit up for Memphis on Saturday. He got 6 minutes went 1-1 from the field and 1-2 from the FT line. He also got two rebound, both of which were offensive, and had a turnover.
Meanwhile David Roddy led Memphis with 18 points and an impressive stat line across the board.

Re: Aggies in the NBA
In their second preseason game Bean got a DNP-Coach's Decision. Roddy scored 4 points in 12 minutes in that game. Looked like Memphis played their key players much more in the second preseason game.

Re: Aggies in the NBA
Merrill was the last man cut - dam*t! The two players he was fighting with Moneke and Dellnadova had personal relationships with HC Mike Brown.
Still, proud of Sam not an easy feat to land a partal guaranteed deal without playing in summer leauge. Keep fighting Sam, you belong!

He didn't play last night but he did the night before. In three minutes he picked up a rebound, an assist and a whopping 3 fouls.

Re: Aggies in the NBA
Here are the stats for our aggies in the G-League after the Showcase Cup.
If you are unfamiliar with the format of the G-league There is essentially two "seasons" within one. The Showcase Cup is a 14 game "season" to determine seeding for the Cup Tourney that takes place at the end of December. As the name suggests this is for scouts from each NBA to come see prospects. Once the Cup is done the "regular season" kicks off at the new year and is a 30 game season then the Playoff.
Edit: sorry didnt realize it was so small. Can't figure out how to get it bigger. if you click the image its readable

In a game last night, Sam had 28 pts on 10-14 FGs, 5-8 from 3. One of those 3s was a walk-off game winner. Sam was +17 on the night.
