Cancelled, I understand because of injuries.

Re: Blue/White Scrimmage Time?
If true, we lost at the scrimmage then the original rumor was not true.

The ticket guy I talked to wasn’t sure why.

Re: Blue/White Scrimmage Time?
John Hartwell said at the Coaches Luncheon on Monday that it had been cancelled due to a rash of minor injuries. The next action for the basketball team will be an exhibition with Montana Western on Oct 27 in the Spectrum.

Re: Blue/White Scrimmage Time?
Why not hold off on the previous scrimmage rather than cancel the scrimmage that is open to the public? Maybe Odom just wants to have the element of surprise when they play Montana Western.

Re: Blue/White Scrimmage Time?
I don’t really get it. The above tweet reads like “we got our asses kicked by SMU, need more practice, and don’t want the general public to know we suck yet.”
But that flies directly in the face of what 22 has reported about the earlier scrimmage with SMU.
I will have faith in 22 until proven otherwise, but that was some unfortunate wording by Odom and/or Ajay.

Re: Blue/White Scrimmage Time?
Or it could be that they performed really well in both scrimmages, but are a little banged up so rather than risk another injury they don't need the extra scrimmage. I think people might be reading too much into a cancelled blue/white game, or I could be completely wrong as well. If the the season is good we won't look back on the cancelled blue/white scrimamge.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2021, 7:11 amI don’t really get it. Re: Blue/White Scrimmage Time?
It’s really just the “felt it best to have a practice” language. If it was injuries related, why wouldn’t the message have been “felt it best to get some rest due to minor injuries?”Aggie84025 wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2021, 7:15 amOr it could be that they performed really well in both scrimmages, but are a little banged up so rather than risk another injury they don't need the extra scrimmage. I’m sure it’s nothing beyond some bad wording.

Yeah it's my bad. Poorly worded on my end. My question was what the health status report was for his teamineptimusprime wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2021, 7:22 amIt’s really just the “felt it best to have a practice” language. Coach Odom's entire anwser is:
"We're at 11 right now, & we got a couple of guys getting ready to return. So I felt like since we have a game next (Wednesday) we were better served to focus on our practice today & so we decided to cancel that. We had a blue-white, & then we had a close scrimmage with another team last Saturday. So I think we're in a good place & the fans will be able to see us in The Spectrum next Wednesday against Montana Western."

AJ Knight would have made that clear in the tweet!aws08 wrote:Yeah it's my bad. Poorly worded on my end.
