Update on non-conference schedule releases

Post by SLB » September 17th, 2021, 8:56 am

It is at 275 out of 358
76.8 % of the D1 teams have released their non-conference schedules.
The point is that it will be soon to get more schedule updates.

How many more non conference games do we need to schedule? I am guessing 4-5 still need to be announced. Hartwell said at the football coaches lunch last week that the schedule would be released by the end of the week. Looks like they may still be hashing out some teams/dates???

The NCAA allows 27 games plus an MTE. Right now we are at 26 plus an MTE so we can have at most 1 more game that we don't know about.

Yo let me know when we've hit 357, at that point we'll be getting close.

We are almost to 358.
300 is 83.8% of 358.

It would also be nice if we could updates on dates that we will not be playing certain opponents. I found that very helpful in the past when I was making various plans. I could look at my calendar and quickly figure out which teams we would not be playing that day. SLB doesn’t seem interested in providing that information this year, so will someone else volunteer?

When I did that stuff, I followed basically every schedule had some extra time. Between being threaten of being doxxed and being very busy, I had to retire from it for a bit.

Add Portland St. at home on Dec. 21; by my count still looking for the Dixie St. game. Looks like UC Irvine is not happening this year.

I believe that Portland State might be our last game. That makes 27 plus an MTE which is the NCAA limit.

Looks like it. It is odd that the UCI thing didn't work out. I personally was hoping for an easier game to have more minutes spread out with the different players which is what we got.
