What were his stats at the U? I admit I don’t follow them at all.
Here you go: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... ylan-jones

I would focus more on his first year stats. He had a shoulder injury most of his second season. I'm hoping that explains most, if not all, of the regression in the numbers from his first to second year.

So long as his injury issues are behind him, Rylan will absolutely thrive at USU. He will benefit from a more team-oriented style rather than the hero ball they’ve been playing at the U.

This is awesome. I really love his game. He looks like he is still a freshman in high school. What is his height and weight these days?

A foot shorter than McBuckets and 100 lbs heavier.

Also, want to see something funny? Here's the picture from 247sports sayin that he entered the transfer portal:

And now here's the picture from Deseret News saying he's transferring to USU:

Notice any differences?
The only thing I noticed is that they Photoshopped away his tattoos.

Love this reaction from Ashworth. Glad he seems chill with this.

Still wondering how the math pencils out here...

But Horvath, Eytle-Rock, Thelissen, and Jones seems like quite the haul for Odom this offseason. I’ll give him an A+ for filling needs.

I’m still not convinced Horvath isn’t the answer here. Either he actually doesn’t count or the coaches think he doesn’t count.

I’m stoked. Bean, Eytle rock and horvarth are potential all league type guys. If jones is anything like his freshman year he could be as well. We have a chance to be better than many on this board seem to think.

It’s not Horvath. He counts because he transferred. Had he stayed at UMBC, he would not have counted.

It’s also pretty clear Odom knew at least as of the middle of last week he had filled 3 of 4 then-available scholarships.

Something happened in the last week that changed this, because we’ve added two dudes. What it was, I have no idea. My bet would be on Potter not coming, because we’ve not seen anyone entering the portal. Odom didn’t recruit him, and if Odom felt like Thelissen and Jones help us more, he’s the easiest to send packing because he isn’t here yet.

Maybe one of the new guys is on an academic scholarship until an athletic scholarship opens up. Just a guess.
