Re: Us and Oregon State are competing for the tallest team in the country
It is a joke, and we know that talking point will end when we get shorter players or some team get taller than us.

Any woman who is being honest with you will tell you size matters.

Re: Us and Oregon State are competing for the tallest team in the country
There's a site that tracks all this for us. We were #26 in the nation last year for average height, and we've only gotten smaller with Queta leaving. Florida State, USC, & Seton Hall were the top 3.

I do agree with this, but I should point out that Horvath and McChesney are G/F players.

I want us to add the 5’2 guy from UMBC as a walk-on to drag the average down JUST so I never have to hear this dumb talking point again.

I second this, and I heard that talking point so much on every broadcast that it is a joke that keeps haunting us.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 4:36 pmI want us to add the 5’2 guy from UMBC as walk-on to drag the average down JUST so I never have to hear this dumb talking point again.

Or how Justin Bean ended up at USU. Or why Marco wears #44.Bank Shot wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 4:40 pmThat and the something about someone being a football player.SLB wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 4:38 pmI second this, and I heard that talking point so much on every broadcast that it is a joke that keeps haunting us.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 4:36 pmI want us to add the 5’2 guy from UMBC as walk-on to drag the average down JUST so I never have to hear this dumb talking point again.

I believe KenPom height is based on their playing time, not just a simple average.SLB wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 4:28 pmWe didn't lose any average height.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑April 15th, 2021, 4:24 pmThere's a site that tracks all this for us. Re: Us and Oregon State are competing for the tallest team in the country
I don’t want the tallest team in the country.
I want to be like Baylor and Texas Tech, and SDSU.
That’s the kind of team these days that win Championships.
